So I went over to Al's house for a bit tonight...watching him lose to MegaMan...meanwhile his dad comes home with a 50 inch TV! woah! It wasn't that heavy either and it fit perfectly in their entertainment cabinet thing! First a new boat, now a tv! I guess it's Mr. Johansen's b-day tomorrow! I left Al's house shortly after helping them hook up the new TV, only to later realize after I got home that Al had my cell phone....jerk! So I went to work where I am now, cellphoneless....oh well! Good thing you can't take God away from me like you can my cell phone!
- Comedy is simply a funny way of being serious. (Peter Ustinov) (well said Peter)! So I slept at odd times of the night last night because of my weird time schedule at work. I woke up around 6am (just as my dad was leaving for work), ate breakfast, then went back to take a nap! haha! I woke up later to find out that my dad was coming home from work to work on the house for a bit before my sister's open house this coming weekend. I helped him out by finishing my egress window (cleaning out the crap, the 2 dead mice I found, etc.) so it could be primed. He washed the side of the house off, as well as the deck, etc. I ended up takin' another nap later on in the afternoon so I would be rested for work at midnight. I went downstairs, only to find a lost bee flying around...so I had to kill that sucker...lol Later on I picked up pizza for the family (Figaros) and then went to Al's house for a little while, watchin him get his butt kicked on MegaMan (the anniversary collection on
- What ever disunites man from God, also disunites man from man. (Edmund Burke) Nothing too exciting the past couple days. I get Memorial Day off work which is nice. I've been trying to stay up all night in order to keep with my weird work schedule...but I've been sleeping at odd times of the day...oh well! Church was really good on Sunday. Fritz finished up the study on Jonah. the college group (consisting of Caleb, Jon, Jake, Heather, myself and my mom this week) went to Dunn Brothers at Festival Foods. Vetter got a...chicken which he devoured in about 15 minutes! lol!! It was fun catchin up with my friends and just "bonding" I guess for a while. I find it spiritually uplifting when I'm able to hang out with a bunch of friends all united under one purpose: to glorify Christ! ps. I love Jesus...and... **don't forget to use your blinkers when on the road! I dislike it when someone turns, switches lanes, or exits without signal lights! haha! Seriously though i
gosh so here's the rest of the day so far!.... After work in the morning, I went home, said goodbye to my dad and sister who were going on my sister's sr. trip for the weekend, then I went downstairs, checked email, talked on the phone with Cassie :) and then got a call from Mandii saying she wanted to get started on moving to her new appt. So I went to my old h.s. to swap vehicles with my mom and I took the big ole Suburban to Shakopee, where I was one of 2 guys moving everything of Mandii's...including her huge couch! It was insane! It took forever! My arms are so tired...but it's all good! I'm really glad I got to help her out since I don't see her that much anyway. So now i'm sitting in "my" cubicle at work, waiting to start in about an hour. Maybe I'll catch a quick nap since it's been since 8:30pm last night since I slept at all! haha! Have a great night and God bless!!!! Micah (6:8)
- Nothing is so fatal to religion as indifference. (Edmund Burke)   So...you all know that some of us go to church every week right? We hear a wonderful sermon (maybe, depending on the week, etc.) and we think "wow, that's so amazing" and then....we forget about it maybe a week later. So does the information that we loved so much that week...does that get applied to our lives, even when we can't remember what it was we learned? Because if it doesn't, all of these sermons are given in vain. They might be excellent messages and wonderful ideas on how to grow in our relationship with our Savior and with our family in Christ...but if we can't remember what we learned (same thing goes with h.s. and college) what difference does it make?   I know it must make some difference...but I bet it could make so much more if we only learned what was being taught.   So maybe it's a good idea to actually jot down the main point each week and actually review it daily t
quote of the day: - All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. ( Edmund Burke) Another wonderful day! I worked the midnight shift (will be doing that for a couple more weeks still) and then went home, talked on the phone for a bit with Mandii, Dad, and Cassie  (I love that girl)!! Then I slept for a grand total of 8 hours! I'm really getting used to this job! I get as much sleep as I want!!! haha! But my afternoon does pass by much more quickly.... ;( Heather  called to say that she's going to Sonshine...just with other friends! haha On a prayerful note: my brother will be having open heart surgery on the 7th of June. I'll write more details about it later but just keep him (and the doctors) in your prayers! God has been takin' really good care of my bro so far so I have no doubts He will continue to do so during this upcoming surgery. Also, pray for Cass since she's not feeling well and kinda stressed out. Well I'm at work right
Oh my gosh! It's been almost FOUR MONTHS since I last updated! That's freakin' long! well...as Jacqueline Kennedy says..."I want to live my life, not record it!" So...I guess that's what I've been doing lately! But God is so amazing...I can't even begin to describe it!!!! wow! Words just can't quite describe how good He's been....through the hard times and the good! I'm gonna seriously update everyday now for a while...but I just wanted 'the faithful' who still read this to know that I'm alive and well....and....so there's this girl.... :)
