Past couple of days have been busy. (Do I always open with something like "I'm busy"?!) Monday was a long day. Keyboarding class was slow and astronomy was pretty interesting. But Hebrew was horrid...so many things to know and memorize...and expectations from the prof. from last year that we didn't learn or didn't remember... After school I did as much homework as I could before our Sammy meeting. I think I picked up Jollie from work downtown first. Yeah. Our meeting went extremely well I think. Informal and quick. We then cleaned the house, ordered pizza, invited a bunch of guys over, and watched the Vikings lose! Of course I did homework for most of the night. Today was ok. Journalism went pretty well. We have a new person in our group - and we present on Thursday. Much prayer is needed for that :) Um - Bible class was stupid again (I'm sorry to be so blunt but we're comparing a Babylonian myth or something to Gen 1) - learning that there are other '
Yesterday was another busy day. I woke up and took my bro over the Teague's (spelling?) house to tear up their carpet and to fix Chelsea Tulipan's computer. The carpet tearing went well and only lasted for an hour. Little Mulvihill and little Fritz came as well. We got pizza after that too - so not a bad morning! I dropped off Jared, went home, grabbed some more clothes, my mail, and then came back here to Sammies. I cleaned up the mail room and discovered something pretty cool. Later that night there was a small party and I went over to Jefferson Commons for a while and hung out w/ Jenni and Andrea from CSF. We looked at pictures, watched the last half of the Gopher game (we WON...and we're going to nationals...you just watch) and just chilled for a while. Now it's Sunday and I have a long day ahead of me. Much prayers is appreciated. Today I have to get a bunch of homework done before 5 which is the CSF student leaders meeting at the center. Then at 7, instead of goin
Yeah today was a busy day. But it's not as bad as it will be next week.... So I went to keyboarding class today at 9am. These first couple weeks are really easy but I think it's gonna pick up soon...either way it takes care of a core class I need. One of the guys struggled a bit today - and this is still like really basic stuff - so I offered to give him a hand tomorrow afternoon for a few min. to get him on track. I hope he gets it! It's fun once you get the basics down!! Astronomy was good. Nothing big. We learned about Newton and Einstein, etc...we have a cool prof. though. He had people come down and measured with a radar gun how fast they could throw a ball. It was pretty cool. No Hebrew today because of Rashashana (Jewish New Years...unbiblical though). I saw little Huston today while I was biking back to Sammies. That was cool. He's a neat guy. I hung out at Sammies for a bit before heading off to work - where I am now. I started work at 11:45am and will leave in
Yeah so I can see that I'm really not in the groove of updating everyday...but I think that will change now - now that my mass comm. proff encourages it - and my life is getting more interesting ;) So - life has been amazing. Yes there are always ups and downs, but it's so cool to see how God has been taking every situation and turning into something that glorifies Him! How cool is that?!!!! For those who don't know - I have 17 credits this semester in: Intermediate Hebrew, Intro to Mass Communication, Keyboarding (piano stuff), Astronomy, and Bible in Context. Hebrew has been the hardest class by far. All I can ask is continual prayer for me in that class. I need to do well and I want to do well - it's just hard. Today has been one of the most exciting days by far. I had Intro to Mass and Bible today. In my Journalism class we learned how much the newspapers are struggling because people get their news for free online. So as I was biking past a Star Tribune stand offer
