So last Friday my sister Lydia GRAUDATED from Meadow Creek! I...still can't believe it! I can't believe that she's going to college this fall at the UofMN (where I go) to major in interior design. She's an awesome sister though. I thank God for letting me be her big brother! The graduation went really well. The President from Northwestern College spoke, as did a handful of graduates. The concert band did a magnificent job as well, as did the choir ensemble (You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban). That night I had to work at DRC again, but the following morning Lydia had her open house. I was pretty tired but managed to stay awake for the entire thing. It was really good to see most of my old teachers. I can't thank God enough for bringing them into my life, helping me grow in my relationship with Christ, encouraging me throughout h.s., and even today, and for just being a godly example for me. I got to work and my boss Evelyn gave me an envelope...with a $50 check in it from DRC . I figured it must be a reimbursement check for gas mileage way back in January when I had to drive to another building for a while. So that was nice! Work went well last night (as well as tonight). Clarence (one of my temps) got back from vacation in Florida …and brought me back a T-shirt! So a check and a t-shirt…but wait, there’s more!   After work I headed to the bank to deposit my check, when I realized that I still had some gift cards that Al gave me for Kohls (he took back a few shirts a few days ago, bought sandals with the exchange credit, bought me a couple pairs of shorts, then gave me the rest of the gift cards which was about 25 bucks)!
