Micah's Xanga (2004-2006)

Yep - Today I worked. Well first off I went to the UofMN to try sell back a couple more books. Guess what?! They wouldn't buy back EITHER SET! They are in PERFECT condition too...but they bought back the amount they need...so whatever...it was pouring rain today so I was soaked too! but that's all fun! I stopped in and talked to my Hebrew teacher for a while since she was still around. That was fun...now I need a higher grade from her ;( After that I went to work and worked my socks off! People thought I was going freaking nuts since I was working so dang hard. I was sweating after 30 min. or so...loading and checking in boxes is hard work! During break I talked to my friend Alla (Russian girl). That was fun. I worked until about 8ish and then went home to pack. I'm going to the Boundary Waters with my dad, his co-worker Jerry, and my bro Jake. We'll be there until late Monday. We're gonna canoe, fish, camp, etc...so that should be interesting. I wanted to get to work early today but I ended up sleeping through BOTH my alarm clocks...so I slept in again! Oh well. I still got TONS of hours in. I hung out w/ Allah during 1st shift for a while. Pretty nice girl. She's impressed w/ my Russian knowledge (I can only say thanks and your welcome in Russian so I'm not following the logic...) :P I took Heather to an interview for CollegePro painting. I hope she gets the job...wow i'm at a loss for words. Kids in the Way is awesome! yeah...

BLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOGGGGGGGGG time! lol So today and yesterday were pretty good days. I worked...lol Work has been pretty "fun" so far if you can see work as fun....shooting rubberbands, making friends, and yes...getting stuff done too. Um - well let's get to the nit and gritty shall we? I don't think i've ever used that term before...hmm...weird. Anyway...my Hebrew teacher thinks I should retake the spring semester again to get "stronger" in it...I know it's embarassing to say but hey...I might as well say it since this is my journal! lol Well anyway - I know I passed the class but aparrantly not as well as I thought. Either way she's a great teacher but I need to do some praying now. Maybe I can just keep teaching myself Hebrew this summer and sign up for the next class for next year - and if it seems too hard I'll switch! hmm...well that's all the "bad" news I have. Um - yeah so much happens still in the day like random though

Well for all of you prayer warriors out there - pray for my friends Michelle and Sarah. They are sisters (as close as a sister can get without being blood related) and both need Jesus. Both have talked to me about the other and want that person to change. Both have different serious problems in their life and both need Christ. Pray that their eyes may be opened to Jesus. In Him, Micah - Micah 6:8 ps. Kaila needs to see a doctor too - so pray for her! pss. Sup Karl and Beka! Yeah I wanted to mosh at point of grace...but for some reason the vibe just wasn't there...lol

I'm DONE with school!!!! (for the summer).... I'm so sleepy right now (haha) but today was fun! Today - Friday - I finished finals in the morning. Then I sold some books at the U. They handed me cash for the books! How cool! Then I hung out at my frat, lent Jollie some money for rent, then went to work for a few hours. I picked up my check, then went to Grace Eden Prairie where I worked security for Girls of Grace. That was pretty fun actually. Katie, Jess, Brianna, and her sister worked security as well. Later on the head security guy (he's also in charge of Sonshine security - this is what they do in between Sonshine events..lol) found out that they didn't want any guys working at the event this year...I guess he got yelled at a lot (I feel bad) but he didn't send us home either - so I got to wear a pink tshirt and enjoy a free concert! lol...Point of Grace and Out of Eden really wasn't that bad... Alright - well I'm beyond tired now and I start work at 7a

Woah - it's been like - almost a week!! You can tell how busy I've been... Well today was nice. I slept in...sorta...then went to work. It was a beautiful day out today! After work I went home to some good food! Then I went with my parents to the awards night at MC - I saw Lydia and Jake (my siblings) get the Christian Character Award this year. That was awesome. The jazz band was great too!! I miss those days...I'm sure Karl does too....:( I got home and took Jake to Dairy Queen. Now I'm still studying for my HUGE Hebrew final tomorrow...oh don't worry! I've been studying all night at the awards thing too! I would randomly say "crap" 'cause I forgot a verb or something! lol So my test is tomorrow at 1:30...lots of prayer would be good! Also - Mock Trial made NUMBER 3 in the COUNTRY!!! How cool!!!!!!! Ok - goodnight, Micah (6:8)

I really don't have long to write but I didn't wanna forget today! haha :P At work I got a 6 pack of mountain dew, a gift card, and some other cool stuff from Jill for finding her wedding ring a while back! That was sweet! Also - tonight was the last CSF night for the school year. It was pretty fun though just chillin' with my friends. Jenni gave me a ton of mountain dew as well (and some other super cool stuff too like popcorn, a gift card to blockbuster, etc.)! Thanks a TON Jenni! You rock :P Yeah so I came home tonight with my hands full....not only with cool stuff from friends but also HOMEWORK...tonight and tomorrow night are my BIG homework nights... Then I have to study hard for some finals coming up next week. I also have a Hebrew oral tomorrow...so I better go now! Lots of work to still do! Keep prayin' for me!
