Church


was good today! Actually I just went to college group today but that went well. We went to Caribou for that!! We talked and wrote notes to the other college students from MC that haven't been to MC for a while. That was pretty cool.


After church I hung out at home for a little while, playing a new game w/ Al! I will be the master soon ;)


Tonight I went to CSF. The message was amazing. Brad did a great job tonight. God really spoke to me and to others there as well. Communion also went well. I enjoy doing that w/ my fellow friends and believers in Christ every Sunday night. The Bible says to do it as often as you meet - so I like the way they do that. It's a great way to start out the week as well. After CSF I gave Ali a ride back to her dorm, called Jenni to see how she was doing, and couldn't get a hold of Andrea (I hope all is good w/ her...I owe her a hang out day...).


Well I'm off to do homework. Pray for my Hebrew quiz tomorrow (the 1st one i'm actually worried about)!

    I love Kids in the Way, I think they're great.  I'm definitely going to try and book them for the Pillar UG Party I'm planning.  Good luck in Hebrew!  I used to take Greek.

I know it’s been since around Thanksgiving since I last posted on here. I wish I had a better excuse for not formulating a better journal since then, except to say that I’ve been spending more time just enjoying life rather than writing it all back down again! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! You know – I feel like most of us in this country really take this holiday for granted, regardless of how much promotion it’s given and regardless of how much knowledge we have of our historical past. What we need to remember is that we came to this country to escape persecution and to worship G-d (aka Jesus Christ) in a way that contradicted the teachings of the king of England. Because of this we left and came to the New World, where we fought the Indians (making both wise and foolish decisions) and eventually came to be the great country that we are now. We are truly blessed…thinking of all the other countries that don’t have the same privileges that we do. Praise G-d for His everlasting love and His hand of protection upon this country still. I fear one day that the hand of His will no longer protect this country us if we continue to turn away from Him and go about our own way…               School has been quite busy. Hey everyone! Yeah I know it's been a while!! I still gotta update - but it's ok. I have most of what i've done on my calander, so it shouldn't be too hard to update. I just missed my 1st class today (well I woulda been 10 min. late so I figured...screw it) so I just thought I would write a little about what's going on right now in my life. So grades are well....so far. As in all my classes and B in Hebrew right now. Not to shabby. This weekend is the retreat for CSF (Christian Student Fellowship) up at Camp Salie. I can't go Fri. night because of a frat thing, but I'm taking a few people up Sat. It should be fun. Um - Bush is still the best! If Kerry wins I'm moving to Canada :) Who's with me?! One of my hardcore Christian friends is very against Bush (because of the war) and doesn't really like Kerry either (because of most of his beliefs) but is either going to vote Nader (throw the vote away) or Kerry (not a good idea).
