Is Any Day REALLY Boring?! :)

Not mine!


May-Term has been going pretty well. It's tough to sit through 6 hours of classes every day, in the same room, with one or two breaks...but - it's totally worth SIX credits in THREE weeks!


It's also tough to work 8-9 hours a day at work...sometimes 6 days a week...from 11pm-8am - BUT...it's ALL worth it when I get a pay check every other week! It helps make college more afforable!


So in reality, I'm going to work to pay for college, in order to graduate, get a piece of paper, in order to get ANOTHER job to pay for bills :) Funny how life works like that!


This summer should be an eventful one! The day after college (last day of class is June 9) I'm going to Disney World w/ my family for my parents' 25th anniversary! That will be the perfect way to celebrate about 37 credits of school in 9 months, and also to celebrete the end of 3rd shift at work! haha!


Hey - I don't know how many people still read this blog, but if anyone is interested in taking a road trip to chicago on megabus (megabus.com) for like $1 one way...for pizza...then ride back the same day...just let me know!


Also, Urbana this winter - from Dec 27-31 (http://www.urbana.org/_u2006.cfm) should be awesome! If we plan it right, we can also take megabus down there for like $2 one way ($1 to chicago and then from there to St. Louis for another $1)!


Anyway - I guess it's time to get back to work! Shalom

    oh my goodness micah, i didn't even know you use this! how are you? i didn't say goodbye really well, but i'll be back in minnesota around august 20th. hope you are doing awesome. i miss all you csf folk.

I know it’s been since around Thanksgiving since I last posted on here. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! You know – I feel like most of us in this country really take this holiday for granted, regardless of how much promotion it’s given and regardless of how much knowledge we have of our historical past. What we need to remember is that we came to this country to escape persecution and to worship G-d (aka Jesus Christ) in a way that contradicted the teachings of the king of England. Because of this we left and came to the New World, where we fought the Indians (making both wise and foolish decisions) and eventually came to be the great country that we are now. We are truly blessed…thinking of all the other countries that don’t have the same privileges that we do. Praise G-d for His everlasting love and His hand of protection upon this country still. Hey everyone! Yeah I know it's been a while!! I still gotta update - but it's ok. I have most of what i've done on my calander, so it shouldn't be too hard to update. I just missed my 1st class today (well I woulda been 10 min. late so I figured...screw it) so I just thought I would write a little about what's going on right now in my life. So grades are well....so far. As in all my classes and B in Hebrew right now. Not to shabby. This weekend is the retreat for CSF (Christian Student Fellowship) up at Camp Salie. I can't go Fri. night because of a frat thing, but I'm taking a few people up Sat. It should be fun. Um - Bush is still the best! If Kerry wins I'm moving to Canada :) Who's with me?! One of my hardcore Christian friends is very against Bush (because of the war) and doesn't really like Kerry either (because of most of his beliefs) but is either going to vote Nader (throw the vote away) or Kerry (not a good idea).
