Well today was...quite a day...even though I was sick. So I missed my classes for the day...but I went to Hillel (the Jewish center where I have Hebrew) to help take down from the blood drive that day. A few of my other bros were there to help as well. It was nice to chat. I saw Cassie giving blood. It was her first time...but she made it :)


After that I took Mary and Sandy and dropped Sandy off at the airport. Then Mary called CSF (Greta, Cassie) and told 'em I was sick and couldn't make it...that was the first time I missed CSF in...well...I don't remember last time I missed! So I went to Mary's house and she made me soup and toast and I slept for a couple hours. Grandma and Sue took care of me as well. Then Mary, Pete, Jess, and I went to see Polar Express! It was opening night and we were the only 4 people in that room! It was great! The movie was pretty cute. A couple came in before the movie and asked what it was about. Jess said "a train"...and after about 5 min. they left! lol oh well.  They missed out.


After that I went back to the Nystroms, then took Mary to get her car. Now here I am at my frat ready to crash again. Please keep praying for me. I really hope this is a flu and not mono! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! You know – I feel like most of us in this country really take this holiday for granted, regardless of how much promotion it’s given and regardless of how much knowledge we have of our historical past. What we need to remember is that we came to this country to escape persecution and to worship G-d (aka Jesus Christ) in a way that contradicted the teachings of the king of England. Because of this we left and came to the New World, where we fought the Indians (making both wise and foolish decisions) and eventually came to be the great country that we are now. We are truly blessed…thinking of all the other countries that don’t have the same privileges that we do. Praise G-d for His everlasting love and His hand of protection upon this country still. Hey everyone! Yeah I know it's been a while!! I still gotta update - but it's ok. I have most of what i've done on my calander, so it shouldn't be too hard to update. I just missed my 1st class today (well I woulda been 10 min. late so I figured...screw it) so I just thought I would write a little about what's going on right now in my life. So grades are well....so far. As in all my classes and B in Hebrew right now. Not to shabby. This weekend is the retreat for CSF (Christian Student Fellowship) up at Camp Salie. I can't go Fri. night because of a frat thing, but I'm taking a few people up Sat. It should be fun. Um - Bush is still the best! If Kerry wins I'm moving to Canada :) Who's with me?! One of my hardcore Christian friends is very against Bush (because of the war) and doesn't really like Kerry either (because of most of his beliefs) but is either going to vote Nader (throw the vote away) or Kerry (not a good idea).
