Yeah - Monday was pretty good. I went to Hebrew, took a midterm...did ok I guess...I hate translating...oh well. I think I did ok...I hope I did...PLEASE TELL ME HOW I DID!!!!! haha ok enough of that.


I dressed up on Monday too so I got a lot of comments at school and work (I think my boss was scared I was gonna take over - lol jk)!! After work I went to my frat for dinner and the meeting - the meeting was sooooooo boring..i'm sorry but it was. It reminds me of highschool crap (sorry I said that) and like...immature little siblings fighting...grow up! Joe and Tommy...and Andy...since you're all prolly reading this - hehe...you guys don't count :) I guess there are a few guys which just make meetings drag on because of obnoxious immaturity (which I thought that by living there next year I would be escaping some of that - but I like living at home still right now)...anyway


Anyway - after meeting - I left quick to go to Cheri Burkum's house (yes - Tyler Burkum's from Audio Adrenaline...his mom) from CSF for AIM group. It was awesome! There were like 5 other people there. (all females...hehe). The topic for this group is on cooking - so we made bread! What a cool deal eh?! We also talked about our Bible reading - and applying it to our group. It was sweet...I love this group. Cheri is so wonderful too!!


Yeah - that was Monday....

I know it’s been since around Thanksgiving since I last posted on here. I know I need to do some updating - but here's the most important thing going on in my life right now (besides Jesus lol): So my brother Jake has open heart surgery this morning at 7:30am, July 7th at Mercy Hospital. I'm just asking that whoever reads this to pass it on and keep him in your prayers. For those of you who know, Jake is my bro (obviously), he's 16, and suffered a stroke a while back at the Excel Center downtown St. Paul, where my dad was called (he ran from his work in St. Paul to the Center and met the ambulance...woah) and my bro was rushed to the Children's Hospital. Because he was in St. Paul at the time, and because he went to this particular hospital, they were able to determine right away that he had a blood clot in his brain, and they were able to have the right equipment to fix this as soon as possible. Because of this, Jacob suffered no brain damage (which was all God). So the Lord really had a hand of protection on my little bro. Later on the do...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! You know – I feel like most of us in this country really take this holiday for granted, regardless of how much promotion it’s given and regardless of how much knowledge we have of our historical past. What we need to remember is that we came to this country to escape persecution and to worship G-d (aka Jesus Christ) in a way that contradicted the teachings of the king of England. Because of this we left and came to the New World, where we fought the Indians (making both wise and foolish decisions) and eventually came to be the great country that we are now. We are truly blessed…thinking of all the other countries that don’t have the same privileges that we do. Praise G-d for His everlasting love and His hand of protection upon this country still.
