Where do I start?! This weekend was pretty tight.
First of all Friday was awesome. I went to school...blah blah, took a calc midterm (stunk), had fun in Hebrew watching a video of a guy in Israel taking hitchhikers to some place. They all swore in Hebrew at one time or another...lol and one of the guys was gay...it was pretty interesting. Geography was ok - we're starting a new project. I'm in a group w/ Dan Elo and Andrew.
Work was good. I didn't say too late because I wanted to get to the concert early! I left and picked up Katie in Plymouth. We got to the club around 5ish. There was a girl just chillin' there so we weren't really 1st in line...but it was good enough! Also there was a guy named Eric that showed up shortly after. So we hung out together and chilled, waiting for the doors to open. Finally around 5:30 a nice line started to form. By the time they opened the doors there was a line around the block!! It was sweet! Noah came outside to say hi so that was pretty sweet as well.
I got my free tickets and and went inside. I waited for Beka to show up and saw a lot of other people I knew as well. After a little bit I went backstage to chill w/ Pillar for maybe 30 min. It was pretty fun. I got a bunch of stickers from Kalel to hand out at the concert. I got rid of those pretty darn quick..."pillar sticker? free pillar sticker?" "yeah dude thanks!" lol anyway that was fun. I preordered their new upcoming cd as well.
The concert was a blast. Even though I'm biased towards Pillar I still think that they did the best job that night...it was tight. They really got the crowd going. The concert was sold out with 1700 people in the little club! You could barley move around :)
So that night was pretty tight as u can tell. I talked to Kalel a little bit during 12 stones. Those guys are pretty awesome. They need as much prayer as possible though - there's always their families to think about, the spiritual warfare going on, and everything else that adds to their already busy lives. I pray that they never change like POD did (in my mind at least).

Saturday was pretty awesome! Amber and Jessi came up for the day. It was sweet. I met 'em at the Mall of America and we chilled there for a while. Then we went to my frat and I showed 'em around a bit. Then we hung out at my place for a while. It was pretty fun! Amber kept trying to delete my computer pics...lol!! Crazy girls :P
That evening was the big Sammie party...yeah...that was tight. I was security for a while, guarding the back door. People were complaining about doing it but I rather enjoyed it. I met a lot of people from other frats and sororities. I even chatted with our former sweethearts for a while. My brothers thought Amber and Jessi were pretty cool. Around 3pm when the party was over a little fight broke out. Luke got a few stiches from being hit in the jaw and i got nailed a couple times...i'm glad I have Jesus or I prolly woulda lost it right there....lol
I made sure Amber and Jessi got somewhat comfy in room 13 and then went down to sleep in the chapter room on a couch. I did my devotions before that and prayed about my frat as well.
In the morning...well like around 7 I woke up and went for a bike ride around campus. I went to the dorms and hung out for a few min. w/ a couple friends. then it started to rain so I biked back and got my car. I drove around again for a while and looked for a spot to park at Starbucks but couldn't find anything. So i got a paper and read for a while. Then I went back to Sammies and woke up Amber and Jessi. I met Posnick too...that was interesting...
Well Amber and Jessi left and I saw them off. I went back to my frat later to clean up a bit and then took off again to go home. I met my parents and Ariel at IHOP. That was really fun. Then I went home and took a nap. After I woke up I got back to some emails and phone calls, and decided to get some homework done. So yeah - that was my tight weekend. I left out quite a bit of details but it doesn't all need to be said here...
God is awesome!
