nothing big today (Tuesday not Wed) - school then worked 11 hours (it was actually fun)...then chatted for eternity online w/ friends!!! yeah!

I know it’s been since around Thanksgiving since I last posted on here. I wish I had a better excuse for not formulating a better journal since then, except to say that I’ve been spending more time just enjoying life rather than writing it all back down again! I know I need to do some updating - but here's the most important thing going on in my life right now (besides Jesus lol): So my brother Jake has open heart surgery this morning at 7:30am, July 7th at Mercy Hospital. I'm just asking that whoever reads this to pass it on and keep him in your prayers. For those of you who know, Jake is my bro (obviously), he's 16, and suffered a stroke a while back at the Excel Center downtown St. Paul, where my dad was called (he ran from his work in St. Paul to the Center and met the ambulance...woah) and my bro was rushed to the Children's Hospital. Because he was in St. Paul at the time, and because he went to this particular hospital, they were able to determine right away that he had a blood clot in his brain, and they were able to have the right equipment to fix this as soon as possible. Because of this, Jacob suffered no brain damage (which was all God). So the Lord really had a hand of protection on my little bro. Later on the do...

Yep - Today I worked. Well first off I went to the UofMN to try sell back a couple more books. Guess what?! They wouldn't buy back EITHER SET! They are in PERFECT condition too...but they bought back the amount they need...so whatever...it was pouring rain today so I was soaked too! but that's all fun! I stopped in and talked to my Hebrew teacher for a while since she was still around. That was fun...now I need a higher grade from her ;( After that I went to work and worked my socks off! People thought I was going freaking nuts since I was working so dang hard. I was sweating after 30 min. or so...loading and checking in boxes is hard work! During break I talked to my friend Alla (Russian girl). That was fun. I worked until about 8ish and then went home to pack. I'm going to the Boundary Waters with my dad, his co-worker Jerry, and my bro Jake. We'll be there until late Monday. We're gonna canoe, fish, camp, etc...so that should be interesting.
